What are the options?
We have 3 different bookkeeping courses on offer. There are ICB (Institute of Computerised Bookkeepers) courses for those looking for a professional qualification – ideal for those people looking to perhaps start their own bookkeeping company.
Then we have our Introduction to Bookkeeping home study training – ideal for those people looking to gain a basic understanding of bookkeeping that would help in their use of an accounting package such as Instant Accounts or Sage 50 Accounts.

- Do I need to do a bookeeping course before starting an Accounts course (either Instant Accounts or Sage 50 Accounts)?
You do not have to take a bookkeeping course before starting on a Sage 50 or Instant Accounts course. However if you are unsure of basic terminology such as what is a balance Sheet or Profit & Loss report or what is a customer ledger then we recommend it as it gives you the understanding of what is going on behind the scenes when you start using Sage software.
